Café Averechts
Café Averechts is a volunteer-run café in Utrecht's Vogelenbuurt, which celebrates its fortieth anniversary this year. A team of around 30 volunteers works behind the bar, arranges live music and other events, offers a culinary café every Sunday, and makes sure there is always art on the wall from local artists. All profits go to a good cause, which changes every two months.
